Course Description:

When we meet death with reverence, we remember how to live. This 5-day in-person intensive—Deepening the Path—is designed for those who have laid the foundations of end-of-life care and are now called to embody the sacred art of dying more fully. It offers a soul-rich, skill-deepening journey into clinical awareness, compassionate presence, energetic healing, ceremonial practice, grief tending, and legacy work.

Through immersive, embodied learning—held in a sacred and supportive community—we explore the anatomy and physiology of death, deepen our relational and spiritual competencies, and gain confidence in the sacred rituals of dying and after-death care.

Time: 8:30 am -5:30 pm (PST) Daily

Learning Objectives (including grief & legacy)

By the end of this training, participants will:

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the anatomy and physiology of dying and death
Articulate the various definitions of death (clinical, legal, and spiritual)
Apply advanced counseling, advocacy, and communication skills
Practice non-violent communication, deep empathy, and presence
Maintain clear, compassionate boundaries in high-emotion contexts
Learn to create and sustain sacred space for dying and grieving
Experience and integrate biofield healing, Yoga Nidra, Tonglen, and Metta practices
Design and lead death vigils and perform post-death rituals
Cultivate deep listening and sacred witnessing in grief work
Support clients and families in legacy creation and meaning-making
